Throughout the year, Glastonbury Abbey hosts a number of gatherings that bring our wider community together in support of the monastery and its mission.
These events help sustain the life of the Abbey and make it possible for us to continue offering a place of prayer, quiet, and hospitality to all who seek it. They also create opportunities for friends—old and new—to gather in a spirit of generosity, connection, and shared purpose.
Whether you join us on the course, bid in the auction, or browse the work of local artisans, your participation directly supports the monks and the many people who come here seeking rest, guidance, and renewal.

Thank You for Making Glastonbury Abbey's 26th Golf Classic and Auction a Wonderful Success!
What a beautiful day we shared at the 26th Annual Glastonbury Abbey Golf Tournament!
From the first blessing of the golfers to the final celebration at dinner, the day was filled with sunshine, friendship, laughter, and gratitude. The golf was spectacular, but the camaraderie and generosity were even greater.
We are deeply grateful to all who participated, sponsored, volunteered, donated, and supported this event. We are delighted to share that the tournament raised more than $50,000 to support the mission of Glastonbury Abbey and the Benedictine monks who have faithfully served this community for more than 72 years. St. Benedict's Feast Day

The Monks and the Oblates of Glastonbury Abbey will host a day “Celebrating St. Benedict.” The day will begin with outdoor (weather permitting) Mass at 9:30 AM followed by a procession with singing to the Morcone Conference Center. The program will include coffee, beverages, and light snacks.
Two talks will be given by the Monks where you will learn about St. Benedict and Glastonbury Abbey. Monastic Trivia will follow (prizes!) and the day will end at 3:00 PM with the traditional Nona’s Ice Cream Truck. Glastonbury Abbey – Morcone Center & Online

Our Annual Auction is a celebration of generosity and community, held both online and in person.
Each year, friends of the Abbey contribute an extraordinary range of items and experiences. The result is a lively, welcoming event that invites everyone to participate—whether by bidding, donating, or simply stopping by.
Proceeds directly support the life of the Abbey and its ministry of hospitality.
Donations are now being accepted. Full event details and bidding information will be shared in September.
Art Fair

Glastonbury Abbey – Morcone Center
Our annual Art Fair brings together over 20 artisans offering handmade goods ranging from textiles and jewelry to photography, cards, and specialty foods.
A longtime favorite in the community, the fair also features:
- Raffle prizes and a 50/50 raffle
- The Abbey knitters and bakers
- A wide variety of unique, locally made items
Admission is free, and all are welcome.
