Synod Report with Sr. Maureen Sullivan
The final reports of the Synod’s Study Groups began to be shared with the public in early 2026, with some of the reports generating controversy. What did we learn from these reports? How might their findings assist the people of God in becoming contemporary synodal ecclesial communities for the third millennium? The goal of this presentation is to address these questions and to highlight how the Synod Study Groups represent a paradigm shift in how the Catholic Church exercises its governing authority and develops its moral doctrine.
