Listening to Other Voices: Rev. Bryan Massingale

“A Spirituality of Racial Metanoia”

In 2010, Rev. Massingale published Racial Justice and the Catholic Church, an examination of racism in America from the Civil War to the election of Barack Obama. Noted as the prophetic edge of the Catholic Church in the United States today, Father Massingale is one of the world’s leading Catholic social ethicists and a prominent African American theologian. He will explore the many ways to understand racism, as a social divide and as a political reality.
