Listening to Other Voices: Rev. Dr. William F. Shultz

“Despite Cruelty: Sustaining Hope in a World That Breaks Our Hearts”

Named humanist of the Year” by the American Humanist Association in 2002, William F. Schulz, a Unitarian Universalist minister, was a leader in the human rights movement for thirty years and, as such, saw humanity at its worst—abuse, torture and killings–and yet he managed to sustain his faith in humanity.  In this presentation he will reflect on how he did that and what part his religious experience played.

This program will be presented in person and via Zoom. We encourage everyone to register online for each event even if you plan on attending in person. That way you will have the Zoom information if your plans to attend in person change.
