Unfortunately the weekly program will take place virtually again this year via Zoom only at 7 PM (Eastern).<\/p>\n<p>The topic this year is &#8220;Women in the Church&#8221;.\u00a0 It will feature five women from the Abbey community reflecting about the place of women in various ages of the church.<\/p>\n<p>Week One: 3\/8\/22 &#8211; Dr. Alice Laffey presents, <i id=\"rp-program-pubteaser\">\u201cUnsung Heroines of the Old Testament: Models for Our Time\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Week Two: 3\/15\/22 &#8211; Dr. Regina Boisclair presents, <i id=\"rp-program-pubteaser\">\u201cNew Testament Women in the Ministry of Jesus and St. Paul&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Week Three: 3\/22\/22 &#8211; Karen Goltz, Obl OSB, presents, <i id=\"rp-program-pubteaser\">\u201cWomen in the Early Church&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Week Four: 3\/29\/22 &#8211; Dr. Julia Upton, RSM presents, <i id=\"rp-program-pubteaser\">\u201cWomen in the Medieval Church: Theologians for Our Time\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Week Five: 4\/5\/11 &#8211; Dr. Carol Stanton presents, <i id=\"rp-program-pubteaser\">\u201cPrecedents and Presence: The Pastoral Call of Women in the 21st Century Church&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Please register for each talk at: https:\/\/gacc.retreatportal.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For many years Glastonbury has featured a weekly communal supper of soup and bread plus discussion on the Tuesdays during Lent.
