Benedictine Oblates are Christian men and women from any walk of life who join with like-minded individuals to develop and grow spiritually in the context of a formal and ongoing program of prayer, study, learning, reflection and sharing in the tradition of Benedictine monastic spirituality. This tradition includes practices of the Work of God (Liturgy of the Hours), Lectio Divina, community, the Word of God. Oblates become affiliated with the monastery and join with the monks in their prayer and spiritual life.
