The first five lecturers for this season were: October 18, 2012 - Barney Frank, US Congressman November 15, 2012 - Mary Jo Bane, Professor, Harvard Kennedy School of Government January 17, 2013 - Andrew Olendzki, Ph.D., Barre (MA) Center for Buddhist Studies February 14, 2013 - Rabbi Leonard Gordon, Congregation Mishkan Tefila, Chestnut Hill, MA March 14, 2013 - Dr. Vincent D. Rougeau, Dean of Boston College School of Law, Chestnut Hill, MA Thank you to all who have supported the 2011-12 (thirteenth) season of our interfaith lecture series, “Listening to Other Voices”. This past year the theme was "Without A Vision the People Perish: Why a Religious Tradition?" The following lectures were presented: October 13, 2011 - Imam Sohaib N. Sultan November 17, 2011 - Dr. John Haught, Ph.D. January 19, 2012 - Rev. Dr. Gloria White Hammond, M.D., M.Div. February 9, 2012 - Dr. Mark Burrows, Ph.D., Obl.S.B. March 8, 2012 - Dr. Lori Lefkovitz, Ph.D. April 12, 2012 - Joseph Marshall III May 8 , 2012 - Fr. John Dear, S.J. All lectures are held in the Abbey Center at 7:15 PM. They are free and open to the public. A good will offering is requested to help support this long running series.
